We work on a wide variety of interactive experiences here at 24 Bit Games, from silly physics multiplayer action to point-and-click thrillers. Every once in a while, though, something arrives and finds us at our most vulnerable. Games that ask us what we leave behind as we grow into our achievements in adulthood, rather than asking us to leave a pile of comically contorted dead baddies in our wake. Games that ask us how we can bridge the emotional distance between ourselves others, rather than just bridging the distance to knife a guy who means us harm.
If all of those moving descriptions sounded way too specific to not be about our latest venture, you are both correct and astute, dear reader. We are so proud today to see the launch of A Memoir Blue, the evocative debut title from Cloisters Interactive, in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive. This interactive poem follows superstar athlete, Miriam, as she explores her memories and her relationship with her mother. The experience is presented via a unique blend of 2D and 3D visuals, and accompanied by a heartrending soundtrack.
This all adds up to a beautiful experience that will remind you that our time on this earth is tragically finite, and that you should call your parents when you can.
A Memoir Blue is now available on Steam, Windows Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
